Information and support to stop child sexual abuse
Some children and young people may be at risk of abuse during this lockdown. This is not acceptable, and we would like to encourage anyone who doesn’t feel safe at home or online to seek help.
There are some organisations to contact for support and advice.
For adults:
-
If you are concerned about your own or someone else’s behaviour, you can contact Stop It Now! confidentially and for free, via the Stop It Now! website or call them on 0808 1000 900.
For children, young people and their guardians:
-
The Child Exploitations and Online Protections Command Centre offers information, help and advice about online sexual abuse – including sexting.
-
Contact the NSPCC for help, information and advice to do with online sexual abuse and any form of sexual abuse.
If you are concerned that a child may be being abused or are a child who needs help you can also contact Children’s Social Care on 020 8921 3172.
In an emergency please call 999.
